Opening Times

Normal opening times:
Tuesday to Saturday 10.00 am to 12.30 pm.
Wednesday afternoon 2 pm to 4 pm

Group visits are welcome but must be pre-arranged with the Curator. please email us with your requirements.

The Museum will be shut over the Christmas and New Year breaks. We shut about two weeks before Christmas and open about two weeks after New Years Day.

This year the Winter Closure will be from 12:30 15th December to 15th January.

However, if you want to visit the Museum during this time, do email and, as long as we have a volunteer available, you will be able to visit us.

There is easy access for the disabled.

Museum Talks: 2019 Series

April 11th Rob Shorland-Ball:
Southwold Railway 1878 to 1929: a tale of a Suffolk Byway, Illustrated Talk, Book Sales and Book Signing.
May 9th Willy Rackham:
The History of Longbows — with a Suffolk dimension.
September 12th Matt Salusbury:
Woodwose — the Green Man in Suffolk.

The October talk is in the process of being arranged.

Talks start at 7:30pm in the United Reformed Church, Quay Street, Halesworth IP19 8EP.
Admission: £4·00; Friends of the Museum: £2·00.
