Suffolk Museum’s Summer in Suffolk 2018

Visit Halesworth and District Museum as part of Suffolk Museums Summer in Suffolk. We have three activities plus the Malt Trail for families to follow as well as the Malt Experience in the New Cut. There is also a Town Trail for families to explore the core of old Halesworth

Summer 2018 Pirate Trail

There are seven Pirates guarding treasures in the Museum. Try to find them and answer some questions about their treasures. When you have found the pirates you can get some Gold Pieces from the Treasure Chest.

Fossil Table

We have a Fossil Table where you can look at fossils and find out about them. You can also make a model ammonite to take away. There is also a handling tray with many fossils for you to hold.

Brass Rubbing

We have a Brass Rubbing base with some small replica brasses and some other items for you to practice on.

Malt Trail and the Malt Experience*

Explore the town by following the Malt Trail leaflet and visit the Cut Arts Centre, just down the road, to see the Malt Experience.

There is a long established Town Trail which takes you round the core of Halesworth
